Stay away from Evolution Worlds at all costs.

Evolution Worlds is a combination of two infamous Dreamcast titles. Evolution and Evolution 2. Back then they were allright but now they feel very dated. In fact, the game isn't them both, but them both combines.

The graphics in the twon you'll start may seem allright at first, but later in the game, they take a wrong turn. First off, these are Dreamcast quality. Second off, the dungeon level design is absolutely horrible. It is very repetitive, so repetitive that you'll constantely find yourself lost in dungeons.

The gameplay is very dull and uninspired. It is a simple turn-based game, so simple that you can beat the game with some of the basic moves. Your character (Mag Launchers) weapon of choice is a giant hand attached to a robotic device so the arm punches out. if you ask me, that was probably the worst idea for a weapon in an RPG game. Exploring towns can be fun but they are very small and overall the game is very small so it's just not a fun game.

The sound is fully voice acted, not that that is a good thing because a lot of it is terrible and doesn't suit the characters but it does have it. The music really isn't bad.

The game is not long, especially for an RPG which should be at least 40 hours. Evolution Worlds is about 20-30 hours long and hardly any of it is fun.

I cannot suggest this game to anyone, unless you find the old DC version real cheap you may want to try it. I'm sure that some people will like this game, I'm just not one of them.
