Oh god what can I say about this game? Um...
This game just plain irritates me. There's no sword-slashing or arrow-shooting, instead you get the "oh so fun" job of controlling the dragon Saphira. That's the whole problem of the game. The controls and camera angles are terrible. It completely turns you off. The missions are incredibly repetitve and the mindless hordes of demons or whatever they're called shooting arrows at you is annoying enough, but please don't kill th game more! Honestly the only reason the game is as hard as it is because of the awful controls.
Even the poorly placed environments are annoying, and you'll be banging up against the wall or "just barely missing the target" a lot. Why did they do this!?!? The only decent thing I can say about this game is that the voice acting sounds close to the way it did in the movie (oh yeah the voice acting sucks)
Clearly, I wouldn't recommend this game, but if you seriously have the compulsive need of controlling blue dragons from your favorite book series, then by all means buy it. You'll be disappointed. Get the PS2 version or something, at least the controls are better.
