Fans Of The Chinesse Story Journey To The West Should Appriciate This Game.
Story:
You play Monkey a Strong brave man who was brought up in the wilds after his perants were killed in a mech attack. Its the far future and the entire world has been destroyed by a mech army. You find your self awaking up after a slave ship crashes with a slave headband on and notice a teenage girl standing infront of you. She has enslaved you and has forced you to take her home were she will release you and be free.
GamePlay:
The gameplay in Enslaved is your typical platformer with jumpping, hanging, platformes to jump and collectables. The fluent climb motion works great as you jump onto bars from bar to cliff edges with ease. Theres lots of things to climb up and lots of collectables. You collect Mech orbs, You find these by looking across the land or defeating enemies. Then there are Masks which are rare to find which shows you clips from before the war and is kindda relavent to the story line. The puzzles are quite simple easy to figure out, it would be better is there were abit tougher but there not. The battles are pretty epic as you use your staff to swipe down mechs, Line your attacks just right and you'll perform small cinematic takedowns, Some mechs has a sybol above their heads, press B and you'll perform a Big Cinematic Takedown. The staff is not just for wacking, its used as a gun too, to fire plasma beams to blow up mechs or Stun blasts to stun the mechs for a short time, These can be use to change the tide of battle.
Graphics:
The graphics are stunning and impressive, The rich scenery and character desgins makes it feel like a real post-oppocoliptic world. With only minor glitching when more than 5 mechs are on the screen theres nothing realy to worry about. The facial motion makes the faces look worthwhile and cutscenes are stunning to watch
Sound:
With not so many good music to listen to as you slay mechs, The good sound effects and awesome voice acting makes up for it.
OVERALL:
For there 2nd game i think Enslaved is a brill game and one to check out. Its one of the best platformers and by far the funest. Brilliant characters and stunning graphics, you cant go wrong
