This game is so underrated!
First off, the graphics. Their ok, nothing special. The allied A.I. is HORRIFIC. You tell them to get into a vehicle, and they just stand there like the dumb idiots they are. They don't respond to hardly any of your commands, and it's really a pain to have your guy scream out "I need covering fire!" five times straight and have the A.I. do nothing about it. Also, the game isn't very isn't very realistic. You'll throw a grenade at an enemy, and when it blows up right under their feet, they'll just fall to the ground like someone shoved them rather than blowing them up with a stinking FRAG GRENADE!!!! The weapons are ok. The alien weapons may appear different, but their really formed on the same basis as the human ones.
But the game makes up for all of these mistakes by just being fun to play. The levels never get repetitive, surprisingly, and freedom of movement across the battlefield is great. The one thing that makes this game awesome is the freedom of choice. You can take the fight to the enemy which ever way you want, rather it being shooting them on foot, running them over with ground vehicles, or blowing the utter crap out of them with air vehicles.
Enemy Territory Quake Wars is an exciting game that levels out the downfalls by simply being fun to play, and will entertain you immensely for hours.
