Standard RPG-fare with an interesting, but underutilized battle system
My favorite part of the game was the battle system. It used a grid like pattern with AOE attacks and moves, which when used properly had quite a bit of strategy and planning to the game.
The story is fairly simplistic with some less-than-spectacular pieces. I will not go into detail, but if you have played an RPG before the story won't be anything ground breaking. Without spoiling to much, there is a clearly homosexual main character within the game. I thought that this was quite interesting, because I do not think I have ever seen anything like this in games.
Overall, the game was fun, but I have played fairly similar games before. The game was an easy 1000 gs, if you are into that. I rented the game at a 7-day rental place and I beat it within the time I had it. So, I would recommend renting it before purchasing; however, I know that you can find the game under $10 pretty easily.
