When I first got Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, I played it for a long time as it can become rather addicting. However, after playing it for so long at once, you quickly realize that the game is rather repetitive. After unlocking the numerous weapons per character, the game simply because rather dull.

If you enjoyed the previous Dynasty Warriors games, you will enjoy this one, simply enough. With the empire mode it actually ties in strategy as you can make alliances, backstab enemies, aid an ally in combat and take over territory of your own, along with more more. Apart from the empire mode however, this game is like most Dynasty Warrior games.

If you're expecting something amazing and innovative compared to the other ones, this is not what you are looking for, however if you are fairly new to the Dynasty Warriors series, this would be the perfect game for you.
