Dust: An Elysian tail is a great hack and slash game. The story starts of with a warrior called 'Dust' who wakes up in the middle of the forest with no idea what happened to him and how he ended up there. Then a mystical magic sword fly's to him followed by a 'nimbat' called 'Fidget', who is the guardian of the sword. Dust and Fidget then journey into the beautiful art of the game. The visuals of the game are breath taking and amazing, to find out about who Dust really is. Dust: An Elysian tail was originally going to be on the Xbox indie games section as 4 episodes being released separately. It then got noticed by Microsoft and won a award, then making it as a full arcade release with all episodes put into 1 game.
The good points of Dust: An Elysian tail. Amazing artwork and visuals really make this game, good voice acting, cool fantasy creatures and characters, awesome collectibles in the game (being other characters from popular arcade titles), Side missions to do, audio and sound track are good, Combat can be fun.
The Bad points of Dust: An Elysian tail. Combat is very basic and no skill required (Button mash), Some side mission are short and easy, main story is short (roughly 4-5 hours). Once you reach a high level combat becomes very easy and dull.
Dust: An Elysian tail is a worth a go arcade title if you are a big fan of hack and slash games.
