Drakengard 2 is the sequal to Square Enix's M-rated hack n' slash game series that was also developed by Cavia Enterprises. Ubisoft, the creators of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and Rayman, was the company that published this Action RPG. The game takes place 18 years after the Union was at war with the Empire. You play as a young swordsman named Nowe who was raised by a dragon named Legna that joined the Knights of the Seal. This game may look fun for proffesional gamers, but this is just another hack n' slash game for the PS2 console. The game may get you all button-mashy and can be quite addictive for some people, but this game is just the same as the original Drakengard game. The music soundtrack is excellent in the game as well as in the first game. There is a new feature to this, there are healing items available in the game, but the maximum items you can hold are 6. The camera during gameplay can have a bit of trouble, but lucky there is an option to customize the camera controls. So, with all of that covered and out of the way, I give this action RPG a 4 out of 5.
