DBZ: Tenkichi Tag Team can be a very enjoyable game, but get ready for the controls to get your head spinning at first.

User Rating: 8.5 | Dragon Ball Tag VS PSP
Don't expect this to be better than the Dragon Ball games in the PS2 OBVIOUSLY. But this game is good in its own right, and I personally had alot of fun playing it.
So now, let's delve into each of it's aspects:

{NEW Stuff}:
1.Fully-fledged Two-on-Two battles!!!
2.3D environments from a third-person perspective, or rather an over-the-shoulder perspective.
3.Fusion with partner in the middle of the heat of battle!!!
4.A HUGE roster of characters (compared to Shin Budokai) and their individual transformations!!!

{Graphics}:
As I mentioned earlier, this is a PSP you're playing with for God's sake!!! + The DBZ series isn't exactly famous for the graphical abilities of its games. . . That being said, don't expect an extremely poor presentation though. . . rest assured, alot of your attacks WILL look and "feel" awesome!!! Like Goku's Kamehameha for instance. . .

{Gameplay}:
Here's an ugly duckling in the way of this game's success. You see, the gameplay is pretty good and really amusing, but the real problem lies behind the "crappy" tutorial. On account of this game's controls being considerably complicated, you'd think it would be supported by a "supportive" tutorial, not one that would confuse you and bore you down till you just start forwarding all of the tutorial "messages" and end up as ignorant as a monkey which can't figure out how to peal a tough banana. This game summons the need for you to take your time learning it, and working your mental ability to its fullest. . . and THATS when you'll start to enjoy the exhilirating battles!!! From throwing crippling combos and using instant transmission (!) , to throwing powerful energy beams and transforming, in-battle, to a Super Saiyan!

{Story}:
The story is the same original story from the Saiyan Saga to the Majin Buu Saga which is good, but the story telling isn't, if I may say so myself. Primarily because sometimes the characters talking in the script don't actually "talk", and you only hear their voices occasionally. At first I thought I had gone dumb, only to find out later that its the game's doing. Weird.

{Sound/Music}:
Can't say much here because I don't really care, but for those who do, it's the same "HAPPY!" music types (sorry don't have a better explanation) we know from these games, like kiddo music. . . But the voice-acting (IN-BATTLE) is not bad.

{Ultimate Conclusion}:
~ Fun Meter = 9/10 (You WILL have alot of fun, atleast for most of the time, till you get bored)
~ "Newcomer's" Fun Meter = 4/10 (They WONT have alot of fun)
~ Will it EVER be an acknowledged game?
= Sadly, NEVER EVER!!!! It doesn't deserve such high esteem. . . Even though I liked it.
~ Should I get this game?
= If you are a Dragonball die-hard fan, then yes, get it. If you're not, I don't think it'll be a good idea :(.

OVERALL Score = 8.5/10
Dragonball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team is an entertaining game that has alot of potential and is a big step in the development of the DragonBall series, IF they learn from its slightly awkward controls. . . .
