An original platformer that keeps you busy long after you beat the final boss.

This game was made as a comeback for the Donkey Kong Country games on SNES, but the game's formula is totally unique. In one player mode, you will not play as Diddy Kong, however he will ride on Donkey Kong's back so that you can use his jet pack to hover for short distances.
In this game, you will find hearts to replenish your health, banana coins to spend at Cranky Kong's shop, and collectable puzzle pieces and K-O-N-G letters which provide an extra challenge aside from completing the level.
The one thing I personally don't like about this game is the motion control: actions like rolling and ground-pounding require you to shake the Wii remote, which you may find less comfortable than pressing a button. If this is an issue for you, I suggest playing the Nintendo 3DS port, which will be released on the 24th of May in North America and Europe.
If you are familiar with the SNES game, then you will hear some familiar songs as you progress through this thrilling Wii game. That being said, Donkey Kong Country Returns is great fun whether your new to the series or a Donkey Kong veteran.
