Dishonored. Where do I even start. I'm just going to go through the list because I am at a loss of words.
Mechanics: Literally some of the best fighting mechanics ever. You will feel like a badass assassinating people, chopping off their heads, sniping them in their faces, counterattacking and stabbing people do death. Gory yet funny and brutal. Trust me, the fighting will not disappoint you.
Story line (no spoilers): The story line from Dishonored is dynamic meaning that it changes based on your actions. If you decide to kill everything that moves (which is what I did) you will have a gloomy dark ending in which everyone dies. If you decide to sneak by everyone and just knock them unconscious, the ending will be rather nice. The important part is is that it give you choices, but I suggest saving before doing things if you want to play it safe.
Graphics: I wouldn't call the graphics very realistic; they might even be a bit cartoonish. Nobles are easily recognized with their long faces and guards with their round faces. Assassins with their masks and all others with their own strange faces populate the world. The game has an old English feel and you see whale oil being used a lot of many different purposes. All-in-all, the graphics suit the game very well.
Originality: Never have I seen a game quite like Dishonored. It stands out among the crowd of boring shooters but honestly, it's a simple game. Bethesda has always been like that. There is a general level that all of their games either rest on or exceed and that line is way up there.
For these reasons, I award this game a 10/10.
