This is a pretty good adventure game. Basically, you play as a kid whose been sucked into his digimon game. The digimon have been attacked by an evil force and are rebuilding thier village, your job is to help them out by picking a digimon and fighting against digimon who will not join the good without a fight. The graphics are good, making the digimon look like they should and the areas are a good mix of rendered and 3D enviroments, however, the fixed camera angle does get annoying. Battling is key essential in this game, which is fairly easy, basically, you let your digimon attack until it is too worn out to fight, you can encourage it and through it items to help. But there are also other elements, fishing, selling items, exploring, but fighting is the main feature. The second main feature, is evolving your digimon. There are plenty of different monsters you can gain, depending on age, weight, moves, disease, corruption and experience, making it a real laugh when your monster turns into a walking poo because of too much disease. The musics pretty good as it blends with the time and mood of the enviroment, whether its underground, overground, sunny, rainy, hot, cold etc. In all, this offers a fairly solid RPG game, although, non-fan members may get bored after a while.
GOOD: Very large game. Build up a city from scratch. Graphics are pretty. Various monsters you can own. Evolution system is good.
BAD: Only fans will like. Easyness of digimon dying. Not much to do once city is finished. Camera angles.
