Capcom hasn't exactly had the best reputation in this generation. With a slew of mediocre titles, they certainly aren't up to snuff as far as they used to be. They decided to bite the big one and take a little time off from rehashing Mega Man and Resident Evil by making an unlikely action game called Devil May Cry. It had hype, but not as much as it deserved. It has one of the most incredible control schemes and gameplay engines that have ever been made for a game like this. Never before has an action game been so simple and easy, but work so well that it wasn't dumbed down in the slightest. From the moment you touch Devil May Cry, you'll know this is one of the greatest action games ever made. In every sense of the word, it's a masterpiece. Devil May Cry puts you in the role of Dante, who is a total badass. Basically, you just fight off monsters the whole game in some really awesome environments with some really great graphics and sound. It's just totally fun. From start to finish -- which will come quick, Devil May Cry is a must-own and it's a defining action game of this generation. It's amazing.
