I can't believe this game got overlooked. The multiplayer was better in some ways than today's games.

I gotta say, I never bought Devastation because I was poor at the time, but back when they released the demo, I played it for months. The online was incredible. Tons of weapons, great gameplay, it really had it all.

The weapons are really the star here. There are tons. I don't think a game has had this nice of a selection until COD4 came out. The most awesome weapon however was the remote rat bomb. You could crawl across the map and BOOM, unless you got shot, or the rat got squashed.

The single player game is a pretty average affair, something to do with rebels vs. a corporation. Kinda dumb, really.

Unfortunately, no one seems to be playing this one online anymore. it's a shame. I'd rather this game had generated sequels and spinoffs rather than Halo or half the other shooters out there. I want to play it even today.
