Def Jam: Fight For New York, is one the best wrestling games available...
Graphics: The graphics are ok, but for an Xbox game they could've been better...Even though the rappers look really good(Compared to their reallife counter-par), the fighting venues look really awesome you can interact with the environment and it looks good....The weapons and all look also good....There are some little glitches and low framerate that can annoy you at times.....But overall graphics are excellent...
Sound: The sound in the game obviously is the best part because in Rap Wrestling game with no good background music is not a real Rap Wrestling game..The Voice Acting is also good, every rappers' voice were brought into the game, which makes the game feel like you're actually with the rapper at that especific moment....Sound is perfect here....
Gameplay: The fights in the game are really fun, as you count not just on the environment but on the crowd too, there are many single player and multiplayer modes for you to enjoy alone or with your friends.....The crowd gives you weapons and can also grab your opponent so you can pummel him lol....Also there is a big roster of famous Rappers including Snoop Dogg, Ice T and Sean Paul and some Divas too.....As you take your character up the ranks you win money and with the money you can make him learn new fighting styles there are many fighting styles and your character can only learn 3, with the good combination of styles your rapper can be unbeatable....And the finishing moves in the game are well...I can tell you that when you do a Finisher on your opponent even YOU feel the pain he felt....There are many finishing moves and they're all terrific....Also with the money you get you can buy your rapper some really nice clothes and REALLY expensive jewelry that makes him look deadly and also really ghetto....
Overall: Overall I recommend this game to ANY Wrestling or Rap fans that wlike both things and if you like beating up the rapper you hate(LOL)....This game is really good so go buy it before you regret never playing it....
