Nice screenshots. Weak gameplay.
There are a lot of scripted sequences that you can't get past on your first try.
And when you do get past that particular section of the game, there will be yet another cheap death.
Yet another trap...
another piece of falling debris...
another checkpoint reload...
**Terrible voice acting.**
I guess it's fine though, because it goes well with predictable, poor dialog.
**Non existing story.**
Full of clichés. Everything has been done before in other games.
Not a shred of originality.
**Poor animation quality.**
It's often very difficult to tell whether you can hit enemies or not. Hits keep missing at close range. Enemies come from the background into your 2D game area. Main character's walking animation around stairs looks broken. Bizarre movement animation at times.
This game is for people who like zombie apocalypses so much that they can look past all this frustration.
Deadlight is not a quality product.
