Dead Space 2 is one damn epic game. (Real Rating: 9.75)

Strait from the beginning of Dead Space 2, you can already see that it's a huge improvement from the first. While Dead Space 2 is allot more action paced and cinematic, it still manages to keep loads the scares high and keep you on your toes through out the entire game.

Story:
9.5/10; Dead Space 2 is a direct continuation of the original game. It is allot more story driven. Throughout the game, you can hear the characters talk and act about the past. Issac continues to have visions of his dead girlfriend: Nicole. You must be very wary about her since she can sometimes force Issac to kill himself.

Graphics:
9.5/10; As soon as you begin Dead Space 2, you can immediately notice the sharper graphics. The human models look allot less cartoony and necromorphs are allot more detailed. The only problem I have about the more realistic human models is that Nicole looks allot less hot than she did in the first game. The game is allot more gruesome than the first and with Dead Space 2 having one of the best graphics in the games released so far in 2011, it has no problem showing it. THIS GAME IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.

Gameplay/ Controls:
9/10
The gameplay is allot more smooth than the first game, mostly because Issac isn't controlled like a bulky tank anymore. Zero G. is also greatly improved from the first game. Instead of making Issac jump from point A to point B, he can fly around and solve puzzles much more easier. You can also land on a platform here and there if you don't want to fly or if a room is to cramp. The game also has a handful of new weapons and enemies.
The controls (for PC) may need some adjusting since the default controls don't feel that smooth. The only downside is that you cannot assign controls to your mouse.

Pros:
New zero G controls, Issac talks and isn't that much of a golfer anymore. The graphics are allot sharper, DS2 is allot more story based, action paced, has better lighting and pretty much every thing else is great.

Cons:
Nicole isn't as hot anymore.... and..... can't think of anymore bad things for this game.

Overall:
Just as I said in the Review Deck, Dead Space 2 is one damn epic game. It keeps up a fast action pace and still manages to have loads of scares. It is not a Resident Evil 5 (if ya know what I mean...).
