I really wanted to like this game but the short campaign, lack of polish and little use of the star of the game (in this case the jet pack and vertical combat) left me very dissapointed. I did give it a 7/10 because there is some fun to be had and when Dark Void is firing on all cylinders it is a blast. Unfortunately that is very rare, most of the time it is nothing more than an average 3rd person shooter with little variety when it comes to guns and upgrades. The controls are another issue, they are loose and unresponsive with the exception of the jetpack, but by the time you get used to flying and shooting with it the game takes it away. Last the campaign is really short, especially for a game that only offers single player campaign with no multiplayer or co-op. With the game having a $60 pricetag that is unacceptable. If you just have to have this game go ahead drop 60 bucks on a below average single player experience that lasts eight hours with no real replayability to speak of. To the rest, like i said in the beginning it doest have fun moments. With that being said you can experience these moments in a single rental. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
