Where the hell did this come from?!

This game hit the spot with me, from the rich exploration to the tight controls, the collectibles, the pacing, the different enemies & weapons, the skill required and the oldskool vibe - with modern age game design.. Just all clicked so well for in.

The game should take around 1:30-2 hours for a novice to finish, that is assuming he doesn't lose his 3 lives and gets a gameover..

But even after those 2 hours, there's plenty of reasons to dive right in again.

the game is designed to have a very light narrative and is filled with satisfying moments around every corner - qualities that make it very easy to jump into.
And so, even after completing the game once it still holds strong - there's a harder difficulty setting, different sub objectives on each level (out of the 3 levels total, which I would rather refer to as "episodes" or "worlds" because they're quite different from one another), collectible yellow orbs and the guilty pleasure of actually playing the game.

All in all, whether you're a hardcore gamer, or a web-flash-games person, the first real DSi game is here, and it's just for you.
