The console version is great,just the PC has gone a slap in the face
now don't take this the wrong way: dark souls is a great challenging game that a person would play if they wanna test their wits but...the PC port is just...well...here's to sum it up in a short version:
any console game that was ported to the PC turned out to not be amazing
we all know that console ports can have their troubles,i mean it is a bit of a problematic port-in since there has to be some sort of coding involved in it but...surely they would try to make dark souls worthwhile no?
well it's suffering from the same problems any PC port suffers from: bad controls (unless you have a 360 controller for this,it won't be a good experience) and i also have a bit of system problems with it because it's really laggy for me and it crashes on me
now it has been improved with the graphics,it's not your casual xbox 360/PS3 quality,it actually has been improved,also you have some more content in it where you also fight a knight which is dripping with black sludge/souls,so i guess if you ever get to knight autorious (i think that's his name,didn't read much into it),i'm pretty sure you will have a nice challenge to fight through and a hefty amount of souls if you do beat him
overall this is yet another bad PC port,oh we have had many of them,i guess only max payne 3 and kung fu strike (i guess nobody cares for that game since it's a brawler,and a very good brawler mind you) were two PC ports that weren't all that horrible..i guess also prototype 2 wasn't all that bad in my opinion,sure it had bad textures but hey...darksiders 2 also doesn't have amazing textures but it still looks amazing...i guess textures aren't much of a problem for me
ugh...i hope this gets fixed because i think it would be a shame for having a great game fall into the bad port bin
