This has ruined so many rpgs for me, i'm hooked

Dark Souls is the most addictive game i have ever played. Why do people love dark souls so much? Dark Souls is able to integrate combat, customization and environments along with pvp to create a totally unique experience. It is arguable that other games easily excel dark souls in each of these separate subjects, but it is in the careful balance of these characteristics which make this game great. The way you are constrained in the leveling system allows for various different character builds to come about. Along with various builds comes several different strategies. Where Dark Souls shines in my opinion is in PVP and carefully building a character for some good ole tactical warfare. The bosses are epic and never fail to disappoint and the introduction of guilds/factions? add another interesting dimension. I have filled eight character slots with different combatants for PVP and PVE action. Somehow this game is able to form a community, even though the only type of conversation is indirect (either through forums or messages). If you are nervous of picking this game up because people keep telling you its hard. Don't worry, it's all apart of the hype. Are some enemies and bosses seemingly impossible? Yah sure, but remember, thats where tactical warfare comes into play. Dark Souls rewards the ability to tactically build a character in order to overcome obstacles rather than randomly throwing upgrades into random slots. And if you ever find yourself having a hard time, there is great game guides and wikis on dark souls. Never before have i played a game where once, in the middle of a duel, both parties decide to take off all their gear and have a good ole fist fight/ or no armor battle, gotta love dark souls.
