Great game but not as challenging as it's made out to be.

Dare I say Dark Souls is a bit of a pushover? Yes I do. Everything is great about this game except the challenge. In my opinion, the bonfires make this game significantly easier than it could be. The bonfires make you feel like you have a sort of advantage actually. When a bonfire is right near a boss it takes all the pressure away from you. If the bonfires weren't there you would feel extreme pressure to defeat bosses and of course it would be harder to get to them. With all that said though certain areas of this game are annoying even with the bonfires. The bosses are the best part about the game, the boss battles aren't as hard as some make them out to be but they're still thrilling nevertheless. If you can be patient enough with Dark Souls it could end up being one of your favorite games. However, if you don't give yourself and the game enough time you will grow negative towards what could be one of the greatest rpg's there is.
