Dark Souls 2 is a close to perfect game. The multiplayer seemed much more accessible this time around, maybe because when I went through dark souls 1 last year it had already been out for two years. So I would recommend that if folks are going to get the most assistance from your fellow gamers in terms of summon signs and messages, I would jump in ASAP. Hell, I've had a brand new PS4 gathering dust in the last 80+ hours of gameplay it took me to beat DS2. I love the fan made wikis, you can tell people really love this series, the game itself is very tough but fair. Sure you accept you will die and lose souls (a lot of souls) but I just cashed them in at Majula for some levels and reached 50 strength eventually. Darklurker was hard as he'll to beat. Tip: dark pyromancy gets more powerful the more hollow you are! That's the kind of clever intricate details you will learn to love/hate from FROM. Praise the Sun! Now please launch the next one on PS4/xbox!
