It's based on the film but in places the story is a bit different. So.. you are Constantine battling against evil.. And what a selection of evil there is..
Overall i really enjoyed it, i felt really pleased with myself that i was helping to rid the world of evil beasties.. heh heh
The only down side i think is the movement. It sometimes feels a bit restricted. If your not careful you L3 Constantine sending him spinning in a 180 to face the enemy.. great.. if there was anything there. Maybe i was holding the pad too hard or awkwardly as often he'd keep spinning round usually when i'm in the middle of a huge fight with 15+ demons..!!
The rewards you collect along the way unlock bonus material. Finding them is another matter entirely. Some are in your face and others.. NOT..!!
There's magic spells to learn and cast and an impressive weapons list.
There are lots of levels to complete so it keeps you interested.
I was quite sad when i finished the game as i got so engrossed in it tha afterward i didn't know what to do with myself.. :(
