Alot better than critics say it is. It's just like the movie, it rocked, but critics said it was fair.

The gameplay is fast, fun, and addictive once you get past the boring puzzle solving levels early on in the game. There is a large assortment of weapons to choose from, all of them are effective and pretty cool looking. The boss fights are formulaic gamespot, I agree with you there, but I liked that. It gives the game sort of an old-school twist not seen much these days. The graphics are great as well. The shadows are some of the best on the Xbox, and the virtual Keanu Reeves looks fantastic. I would give sound a 10 for the amazing Dolby Digital( if you have surround sound, USE IT), but the voice acting is pretty cheesy at points. The value is pretty high because just like the movie, it's fun the second and third time through. Overall Constantine is an underappreciated game that I really enjoyed.
