It improves on the original and makes it a better game, deserves at least an 8.5!
Anyway, the menus are easy to navigate and they are attractive, all the settings you need and more. The army customization for multiplayer is awesome but a bit sad about the grind needed for stuff. Sure that will change though!
The campaign is amazing, really gives you a feel of what things were like and there were parts when I found myself smiling at cool events only for something decidedly grim to happen afterwards to turn it upside down and swear revenge on this unscrupulous miscreants. It's great! Games hardly ever make me do things like this!
The sounds, music, atmosphere and graphics are all great, all big improvements of the original! It's so in depth you wouldn't beleive it. The patter of infantry feets, the tank treads, the explosions from artillery, you soldiers pointing out said artillery shells and then...THE THUNDEROUS MUSIC CRESCENDOS! I love that! The music builds depending how much action is on the screen!
And then...finally, when all the smoke is cleared...you see the soldiers crawling on the floor to their friends or wrigling on the floor, bits of bodies strewn across the place and people desperately shouting 'MY ARM!! PLEAASE HELP ME FIND IT!'
Anyway yeah. 10/10. Deserves no less. Well done Relic.
Now give us Dawn of War 3! >:D
