User Rating: 3.5 | Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight PC
Command and Conquer 4 Tiberium Twilight has simply been the most disastrous and disapointing game I've played this year... nope sorry ANY year. I seriously can't believe I'm writing this now, because in short, the game doesn't even deserve a review.

Installation is fine, it looks pretty good, but as soon as we load it up the first problem emerges - you have to be connected to the internet to play. "This is to stop piracy" you say. Well, I've seen many torrents on Tiberium Twilight so I take it does nothing at all to stop piracy from my view.

Then we get to the actual game. EA have put in a level system like in age of empires 3, at each level up you get certain unit or upgrade. While it does create a sense of achievment every level, the rewards arn't enough and it takes a while to level up anyway

We also now have differnt MCV classes. Assault, Defense and Support. The names really speak for themselves. Moblie bases wern't a bad idea, but they also scrapped basebuilding which was what made the other C&Cs fun.

I don't normally comment on the soundtrack but it was really the best aspect of the game. The Nod music sounds Middle-Eastany and immersive. The GDI music souds good too.

The storyline... well It's quite unclear. Kane proposed a temporary allience with GDI to build the tiberian control network which will stop the spread of Tiberium unfortunatly, nod extreamists don't really agree and spark a fourth tiberium war. The storyline to me really doesn't make sense. It is unclear and pretty weak. The ending was disapointing too.

When we thought EA couldn't get any worse, we were wrong. I huge disappointment and a doubt that this will get any better.
