If you're a fan of 2D fighting games, then this game is definately for you. You'll be button mashing for hours and hours

Capcom vs Snk is a pretty good 2D fighting game. The animation is amazing and beautiful. The fight system is clever and easy to work with. Unlike it's predecessor before it, this game offers a little more activity. With different survivor modes and arcade modes. The characters are what's best about this game. There are 43 characters to choose from, which makes it more interesting to experiment with. You can choose characters from Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown, and Rival Schools. There is also a color edit system where you can change the character's colors and their name. You'll spend most of your time perfecting each and every character's moves and abilities, as well as the groove systems. Groove system is a customary fighting system with different attributes(think of it as Devil May Cry's styles). With the groove edit system, you can also customize and create your own groove system that will be more comfortable for you and your favorite characters. The difficulty level is just right as well. The difficulty ranges from 1-8 stars. Seriously, it's best to practice the character's moves first if you're a novice. Now for some of the flaws for this game. The first flaw is that there's only a limited number of game modes to play. The second is, the bosses in this game are ridiculously cheap(then again, SNK and Capcom are good for that). The third is that some(not all) of your favorites from Street Fighter and King of Fighters won't make an appearance. For example fans of K' will be disappointed with the absence of K'. The biggest flaw in this game is the storyline. The story is really cheesy, with the characters only saying like 4-5 lines. Plus, there's no animated cutscences for the character endings. As a final verdict, if you're a hardcore Capcom or SNK fan(like myself), and loves a 2D fighting game, this is for you. All others it's usually best to rent it first to see if you like it or not.
