I would have to say, that in order to know if this game is good...is to rent/buy it yourself and try.

I love anything Japanese(especially the weird things! Like the cute expressions....and I actually find their thoughts on horror interesting) and horror. So, obviously this game sounded amazing to me. If it does sound good...try it. Just because the score is low or all you hear about are the negative things, doesn't mean YOU will not like it. Most of the games I adore have a low score.

One of the best points of the game is that when you first begin...all the scary noises and shadows scare you! Because you are not expecting them, down the road you will begin to realize that they do appear and won't be afraid. That point is sad to loose. As soon as you realize that, 50% of the fear is gone. Although, it will not happen to everyone but it did for me for the most part. Sometimes if I was waiting for something to happen, a quick shadow passing by scares me alot. But, I gained the advantage of being dragged into the plot.

Another thing I liked, is how you play. I like adventure games where you run around looking through things. So, if you do...then you'll like it even more.

So all in all, the game will be loved by some, but not all. Rent it if you want, or even buy it...it's not that expensive.

Pros for me are: scary, adventure game, addicting plot line and I like that certain points in the game send messages to your wii, usually pictures. And, you can save pictures you took with the phone(con is one at a time, can't look back at them). It was really neat for me...especially the pictures was kinda funny. XD

Cons for me: horrible voice acting, the second half of the game being played as the one character(there are 4,but you play most of the game as the girl Rin, and the guy Makoto). He needs to go back and forth so much, that it gets annoying at times. Dialing the phone gets annoying sometimes. Another part for me, is the second part of the game using Makoto, he doesn't get phone calls like the girl did, he gets text like her but not as often.
