How did they do this for 15 dollars? Very well done.

If they can make games of this quality for 15 dollars, bring them on. I really have no idea why it is so cheap, but I am not complaining, I am really wondering if they can make this game so cheap, why are other games 50 plus dollars?

This game is just plain fun. Everything I played is well polished and interesting to play. I played the story twice, and started my 3rd playthrough in "New Game Plus" which lets you keep the skills you purchased with previous XP. I love when games let you do this.

The graphix are Borderlands style, and very good. The atmosphere is Old West "movie" style, and well done. The story was a very interesting, told by Silas Greaves speaking to a group of people in a saloon. As he speaks you experience the narrative, or help write it. I thought this was a refreashing change to normal stories, as you hear other people speaking in the background and you experience their misunderstandings at times, only to be corrected by Silas, then you experience his version. I liked this a lot.

The arcade mode is very fun to try to get high scores, and keep your multiplier going for individual sections (like a town or canyon), made familiar from the story, if that is what you played first.

The duel mode was great fun, as dueling in Call of Juarez was always a little confusing to me and you never really do it enough to really get it. But in this mode you can do it all you want, and refine your ability here. It is still a bit hit and miss for me, but I got a lot better, and understand it much better after some practice. There are 15 level here, and you get 5 spare lives. The focus and quick reflexes required is fun in itself.

The control is spot on. I am using a Playstation 3 controller with MotionJoy emulating a 360 controller. Normally using a controller is slower, but I am able to easily snap to enemies with no problem, and focus for head shot with a little effort. I haven't tried it with a mouse and keyboard yet. I probably will, but find the controller very good.

Bottom line: Wow! And only 15 dollars? Double Wow!
