Even though it stands in the shadow of Modern Warfare, World at war is still a great game on it's own.

Call of Duty: World at War isn't as popular as COD4: Modern Warfare. But it's still a great game, the campaign is fun, the multi-player has the same great Modern Warfare formula that we all know and love.

The Campaign in World at War is awesome, the missions are well thought out and extremely detailed, and each level/mission is different compared to the rest. First thing you know you'll be fighting the fear-some Japanese, then all of the sudden you're a Russian sniper hunting down a German General. The game also makes you realise what the Allied soldiers went through and how horrible the war really was. You also get Nazi Zombies, which is extremely fun. Wave after wave you try to survive against the Zombie Horde, for each kill and etc. you get points. With these points you can unlock certain areas or buy new guns.

The Multi-Player has the same formula as Modern Warfare yet it still feels different and unique. You can create a wide variety of classes using the weapons, attachments and perks you're given. The maps are also unique and fun to play on. You basically get all the modes which were in Modern Warfare.

The graphics are also outstanding, all the characters look real and life-like. Vehicles are extremely detailed and weapons also look great. So do explosions and etc.

Game-play is still the same old Call of Duty formula, but it still seems fresh and new.

The sound is good too, bullets whistle past your head and explosions sound great too.
