...one of the worst Ports ever.

User Rating: 6.5 | Call of Duty: World at War WII
I played this game through 4 prestige levels before I saw what the PC version of this game looked like. Prior to that enlightenment I enjoyed the game, had fun with the controls and absolutely love the weapons of the WW2 era.

...and upon a further review, the nostalgia of the weapons is really all this game has to offer. It filled a roll with being a FPS in the COD series for the Wii, but filling a role is not an accomplishment.

This was broken from the word go, while I understand it was a test to see what the Wii could actually handle, they stripped WAY to much of the original titles content out of the game for fear it would overload the system. You end up with a shell of what the game could have been.

Bad renderings, dialed down details, poor lighting, reduced game modes and a broken weapon are just the tip of this games problems. Host advantage without migration and crappy match making round out some of the rest.

Had I never seen what the game was supposed to be like, I would have rated it much higher due to my love of that era of weaponry, hell I OWN an M1 Garand. Bu after seeing the light, this game was a hack job just to get the title on to the system.

If you still own it and have not moved on to Modern Warfare Reflex, let this *****-slap of a review guide you to the light. If you are still playing FPS games on the Wii, do your self a favor and get MWR, you can still sell WAW for a 10 to 15 credit at most GameStops.
