Not as intense as later Call of Duty games, but still pretty intense!

Call of Duty: Big Red One is a FPS based on the First Army Division in. Known as "the Big Red One" for their distinct arm patch, or "the Fighting First" for their fierce reputation, this game follows their path through North Africa, and the invasion of Sicily in World War 2. This is a pretty basic FPS, but what's wrong with that? You will be doing things like blowing up Panzers with bazookas (which is kind of unrealistic because their armor was so thick, bazookas could even really damage them), manning AA guns, driving tanks and such. Their are plenty of weapons to choose from (by choose I mean find of the dead body's of your enemies), some of which I doubt you will recognize because they have never been done in video games before. You will come across French and Italian weapons. That's right. Along with Nazis, you will be fighting Vichy French and Italians. To me, that's one of the best parts. It's pretty bad ass to be a waltzing around with an Italian bolt action rifle. All in all, this is just a solid game. There is one thing I don't like, and this has plagued every Call of Duty game. The tank controls suck! Luckily there aren't many times you have to use one, but, when you do, you won't enjoy it. The graphics are pretty good. Nice character models, ruined cities, and deserts. The sound is also very nice. Although, there is one thing that is kind of weird. On my TV, about six on the volume is plenty. But, for this game, I have to turn it up to about 20 to get good sound. I found that kind of strange. Seriously, this game is a lot of fun, and I defiantly recommend picking this up.
