Intro

It was the old days since I remember watching this game...Breathe of Fire to Breathe of fire 2. It was played for those who we’re younger than me. Well I’m very young to try this kind of game that time. I consider myself as an observer… and I really enjoy a lot. They are my friends. And I barely watched the game every time they played it. This Game really flows from start to finish with its storyline; the game play and its characters that are all top-notch. Well the sound, it doesn’t really aware for us since most of the game sound are mono compared today’s sound of the game. It’s really a big difference!! Even in visuals, it’s really far from today. Hey, with the cute characters, vast environment and special effects... it delivers the best visual since its time. This is my first time to see this kind of game (RPG). And it’s Japanese!!! Yah, you hear it right... those chig-chang-chong words?? Most of our games are Japanese since then (fact: its very rare here in the Philippines this English version RPG.), so it end up playing all of them in Japanese. But it doesn’t matter here and they finished most of it. =) How hardcore is that?? I say, they are really desperate this kind of game. Coz you know what?? TBC / RPG?? Delivers real fun!!!

Breathe of Fire 3

First time I heard the news, im really excited about it!!! It’s Breathe of fire 3!!! I’m a bit little disappointed until I saw the actual game since I already played the “FF thing”. But definitely want to play this series… Since its breath of fire and OLD SCHOOL!!! It’s a great game…

Why it’s great??

Visual: the design of the characters remains the same to its predecessor (2-D and anime style) except the environment (buildings, trees, mountains, dungeons and cave) …that are now in 3D. This is some sort of mixing 2D and 3D style you know. It’s 3D, you can tweak the CAM 180 deg and also to navigate you to see the every corners of the buildings or trees… this may find you items or accessories in your explorations of the game. Sometimes it annoys me to peak every corner to find some goodies!! Hoping it has 360 deg Cam feature though. But it works fine. The Visuals works quite good own its owned.

Sound: the sound and the music of the game are good with the additional of the character’s voice (not really a fully audio acting… just a sort of expression’s of the character). And the other sound effects are reminished to its previous series. Just a mixing I say!!!

Gameplay: nothing much changes about the game play since the previous BOF. Characters have its own ability and may help your way to your journey … to explore new ways, to find new items / accessories and help you to solve puzzle (not really the major puzzle of the game). I don’t know what are called the changing formation of RYU’s character (ryu’s became a dragon)… but it’s really a good touch and additional feature of the game. I really enjoy combined those dragon stone?? I don’t know if I state it right) Since I played this game 6 years ago. Well its TBC / RPG, there is much going on in the game itself… to fully enjoy it!!!

Value: RPG’s seems design to run in miles away. This game quite delivers the goods and excitements to every hours you play. For hardcore, there’s a lot to explore and for casual gamer, enjoy the storyline from start to finish.

Tilt: It quite delivers the goods and excitement for every RPG / TBC fans!!! Classic!!!

I enjoy it, if it’s like back to those days but with a less disappointed…coz it was release in Playstation (just thought to be like FF7 but then again my expectation are wrong). Haha!!! The good thing, it delivers the good!!! If you’re a fan in RPG and love’s in my era (old school) then its worth to owned this kind of game and put it your collection.

Fact: this is the only one I finished it played in the Breathe of Fire series. Peace out!!!

P.S. Hey, good news for RPG’s fans… Capcom is porting its own classic RPG: Breath of fire 3 ...will be on PSP. Release date: TBA. For more info: stay online on www.gamespot.com.
