Bomberman Party Edition is a PS1 game that makes any bomberman fan look back at the beginning of this fun and entertaining series. This game includes the original bomberman, an updated version, and a multiplayer mode. The normal game is just like the one back on the NES, destroy all the enemies before you run out of time, but enough about that, lets go to the multiplayer. 5 people could play this game at once. The multiplayer mode had three different sets of characters to choose from. The standard bombermen, the international/outfit wearing bombermen, and the special ability bombermen. Selecting the standard or the outfit wearing sets of characters would just be like a normal bomberman game, but selecting the special ability set gave the game a little more action involved. Each character had something unique, a flamethrower, jetpack, gun, a sword, and even a flail. These abilities could help you out when your friends had an advantage over you. The games graphics were ok, and the overall gameplay was good. This was a fun party game, and a good bomberman game.
