"I swear, I'm not just dating her because of the looks!"

User Rating: 9 | BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger PS3
After becoming a hit in arcades around the world, BlazBlue brings all of its flashy glory into your homes with success.

TURN ONS:
- Beautiful high-definition 2D anime fighting complimented by an awesome soundtrack.
- Story mode has a relatively intriguing plot which really brings out the color and personality of every character.
- Each of the 12 characters are unique and fun to use.
- Gameplay is deep enough to engage even the hardest-boiled of fighters.
- Lots of features and extras to keep you coming back for more.
- Online is immaculate, smooth, and addictive.
- Noel

TURN OFFS:
- Presentation of the story mode via Japanese visual-novel style may seem shallow and boring to those expecting cutscenes or other modern storytelling conventions to advance the plot.
- Learning curve makes it hard to recommend as a party game where anyone can jump in and play.
- Disconnected games automatically are tallied onto your profile card, even when you were not at fault for the disconnection.
- Some moves are seemingly designed to be pulled off with an arcade stick, which is bad news for those who do not own one.

RECOMMENDED FOODS/DRINKS WHILE PLAYING:
- Caffeinated and carbonated cool drink with a large straw, because you'll need both hands.
- Pringles (Pizza Flavored).
- Pizza (Pringle Flavored).

RECOMMENDED FOR:
- Anyone who enjoyed Guilty Gear
- Anyone who enjoys 2D fighting games in general

IF THIS GAME WAS AN ANIMAL:
- It would be a beaver.

IF THIS GAME WAS A CHICK:
- I'd challenge her to an arm-wrestle.

BANG FOR BUCK?:
- The Limited Edition is definitely worth the standard price. It comes with a sweet bonus 2-disc soundtrack and a Blu-Ray/DVD combo at no extra charge.
-The Standard Edition will give you as much mileage as you're willing to. The game is packed to the brim with rewarding fighting mechanics, solid extra features, and strong multiplayer. That alone makes the game a keeper. If you're not one to obsess over fighters, then a $10-$15 markdown might just be what you should be looking for.

OPTIMAL CONDITIONS TO PLAY GAME IN:
- Play with as little clothing as possible. It's just more fun and sexier.
- Have an arcade stick.
- Have soft things next to you if you're planning on attempting Score Attack mode. Soft, punchable things.

FINAL WORDS OF WISDOM:
- Chicks with guns, lolita vampires, robo-girl that shoots out sword-thingies, an epic transformation, and more!
- So what are you waiting for?
