Fast, Flashy, Addictive

A lot can be said about BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger but what will come up in most reviews is the word addictive! the flashy presentation, the compelling storyline , the fast passed action and the well staged online mode makes this a game which has an insured place in the pantheon of fighting games. Most of its success is of course partly due to its predecessor Guilty Gear, which paved the way and created a strong fan base to thrive on. Most players, hardcore fighters and newbies alike, will feel right at home playing this fighter with its intuitive commands. There is also a lasting gameplay provided in the form of unlockables and tons of trophies to collect and boost about to your friends. The online mode does suffer from lagging at the start of each battle but once the match starts the fast passed actions is dazzling. One down side to this eulogium: there are only 12 selectable characters…but hell, we can't have it all.
