If you can get past the insanely difficult levels, then it's worth it. But the level creator itself justifies a purchase

I bought this game the first day it released at $39.99 (full price). Well now it's 10 bucks. Let me start off with the level design. The levels are insanely difficult even at the lower difficulty levels. This is a basic side scrolling 2D shooter with a twist. As you destroy enimies, they turn into a piece. You can move onto the piece before it falls off the screen and it will automatically attach to your ship. The piece maybe a worthless piece of junk that just breaks off as soon as enemy fire makes contact with it or it can be a secondary blaster that fires bullets in addition to your base ship's fire. Also at any time you can morph back into your small base ship by pressing the Z button on the nunchuk.

Now with the level creator. The level creator is very unique. It's a bit complicated though. But once you get the hang of it it's quite fun to use. You can upload your levels, ships, and any other of your creations to the Blast Works Depot via Wi-Fi where others can download your creation(s) and use them for their personal use. It's really fun seeing your creations being downloaded.

Boss Battles. The boss battles in this game are perhaps the most challenging I've ever seen in a 2D side scrolling shooter. That may be a good thing for some who are thirsty for a challenge. As you beat levels on certain modes or difficulties you gain access to Kenta Cho games. That's right. For every task you accomplish which are described in the game you gain access to more games.

Al in all this game is a great addition to any Wii Owner's library. The level editor alone can provide you with countless hours of gameplay.
