Best Online Shooter PERIOD

User Rating: 9.5 | Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC
Like I just said, this is the best online shooter ever made! Sound is fantastic, maps are huge and full of chaos, vehicles cover the battlefield, and by the end of a match the landscape is totally changed by the power of the weapons. This is not some small scale skirmish in a small arena... This is Battlefield!

Graphics:
Top Notch! I'm playing at 1920x1080 all settings maxed out. Runs pretty smooth, occasional hiccup when we got a ton of guys trying to take down that last objective, but otherwise it is great! Not quite Crysis, but I usually try not to compare to that because there is no game that even comes close (check out www.incrysis.com for the best crysis pics if you dont believe it is the most realistic looking game ever made).

Sound:
This wowed me! When there is not much going on you can hear bugs in your ear, the crunch of snow under your boots, the wind blowing leaves, its very believable. Then you hear the crack of a sniper rifle from afar and the bullet hissing past, soon explosions pound your ears. Tanks and helicopters go past and you are surrounded by war! Every single gun is screaming into your ears and you can hear the steal bending and breaking as building crumble and fall apart. This is the best sounding game I have ever played!

Controls:
No pron, but what battlefield let you do that? It prevents people from laying down under the stairs and getting 25 kill streaks. I guess here that wouldn't work because if they camp in the corner of a building you could just destroy the building, that'll force them out of their hiding spot ^_^.

Multiplayer:
It's BATTLEFIELD!!!!!! Nuff said!!!!!!

Single Player:
Good, but I've played better. It's no half life, but this game is pretty funny. It's gets kinda childish at times, but overall it is a pretty fun game and a good break from multiplayer when the servers aren't working

Conclusion:
This seems like the last Hoorah for the PC! PC gaming was looking like it was dieing with all these stupid xbox games and crappy ports, Supreme Commander 2 was the last straw before I was going to give up on gaming... but then DICE saved me from selling my PC for some other stupid hobby like going outside or whatever... Thanks DICE for once again makin me a game that I can play for the next few decade! I miss 64 players and jets... but I don't even think my computer can handle that with maxed settings, so its forgivable. Battlefield Bad Company 2 should not be missed by anyone who likes online shooters!

Just do us Battlefield vets a big favor, STICK WITH THE TEAM! Don't just go kill yourself and for the love of all that is Holy DONT WASTE THE HELICOPTER!!!! Thanks.
