Battlefield : Bad Company 2 is the best damn warfare-based game at this point of our generation.

User Rating: 9.5 | Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC
Words cannot describe the immersive gameplay of Bad Company 2. Where to start. Alright, let's start off at presentation.

The graphics are pretty stunning, photo-realistic, also makes you feel like it's on par with Crysis. Drop shadows are very sharp and crisp, and even the optimisation of the game is pretty good. At my specs, it's running decently smooth at high settings, so this lets most PC gamers have the chance to experience BC2 at it's fullest.

However, Bloom does tend to be overdone. But since this is the PC version, you can tweak the game settings ( the developers were so kind to actually put a file where we can customise our graphics settings and resolution ) and you'd be able to turn off Bloom. You can also tweak your Field Of View. This is good because the default seems like the FOV is too zoomed in.

Next we go on to the multi-player. It stays true to the battlefield series yet delivers more tense infantry-based game modes, although you're still able to fly helicopters and use tanks, quad bikes ( did I mention quad bikes? They are awesome ) and a few more vehicles.

But in opposition to Battlefield 2142 and 2, Bad Company 2's multi-player experience puts you into the immersion of battle, with exciting firefights against other players.

The new RUSH mode seems to be the most fun of all. This mode is an Attack/Defend situation. Attackers must bomb the defenders' M-com and when they do, they proceed to the second part of the match. It progresses till a final stand off point between the attackers and defenders.

Along with RUSH, you have SQUAD RUSH, SQUAD DEATHMATCH and CONQUEST.

Lastly, I come to the most important and the best thing of all about Bad Company 2 : Sound design.

I can't imagine how the developers managed to make the sound so realistic. Usually in warfare-based games like these, you do have the typical "ear tinitus" effect when just almost being exploded by an RPG or a grenade.

But in Bad Company 2, you can actually hear rockets fly past right by your ear and the result effect. Weapon firing also sounds so real. The game would only be dead quiet once everyone stops shooting.

No pre-rendered background sounds, just ON-THE-SPOT sounds. This however does uses up your CPU usage but no worries because a dual core is good enough to handle this.

This game is a must for those who love warfare-based games , or any First person shooters. BC2 really puts you into a real warzone, like you're actually there and you become so immersed in the game that you'll lose count of how long you played.

This game is a MUST, no FPS lover should pass this. It's one hell of an experience.
