Some control issues, but a solid cartoony Batman game.
The only issue I had with Batman Vengeance is the controls at certain points. The controls change when you go from a regular position to a fight sequence, and vice versa. When entering a fight, the jump button will change to kick, and a couple other changes. Frequently, when you're trying to fight, it will switch back to regular mode, and instead of kicking you'll jump and then just get beat up on by your opponent. Or sometimes there will be problems when trying to enter fight mode, and when that happens you can't aim your punches, so you end up punching air while you get beat up on.
The other control issue I had was with the use of the grappling hook. The controls are extremely sensitive, and sometimes you need to use the hook in a hurry and you can't get the pointer on the right spot.
However, in it's entirety, B: V is a solid game. There are a few batmobile and batplane sequences. And the regular action sequences are overall really good, although they were definitely a bit too "platformy" for my liking. Lot's of jumping, falling down and starting over, and jumping again.
Regardless, if you are a Batman fan, this is a good game with an impressive story, it will keep you entertained.
