Best Batman game to date !!

Well........... it's about time someone got it right ! don't get me wrong i was a fan of batman on the NES system and the "Adventures of Batman & Robin" on the sega cd, but those are old school games we needed some one to usher in the nex-gen batman franchise and Ubisoft hit it right on the button for me. Lets start with the overall game play. Everyone of batman's adventures is played out like a episode (since this game is based on the hit cartoon series ) and through each episode u remain in constant contact with batgirl who provides u with plenty of info on where to go and who to go after. Now aside from Batman's hand 2 hand combat he comes equipped with a number of gadgets consisting of batarangs, batgrappler and the batscope. when encountering a enemy 9 times out of 10 u will have a chance to knock the opponent down, when u do get him down u have a small window in which u can use the batcuffs and cuff him up, by doing this he will be rendered useless and not get up and follow u. Besides controling the Bat on the ground certain missions require u to use the Batmobile and the batplane, Now normaly i am against having to switch to flying and or driving, but in this case it happens so infrequently ( and even when it does it's really alot of fun !) that it actually can be seen as a nice little change of pace. As far as the graphics go I think they are some of the best the cube has to offer in my opinion. To me it feels like I'm really playing the cartoon ! right down to the animation of batman (it's pretty cool when batman runs and jumps to see his cape being blown about) the in between levels clips are gorgeous and really keep the story moving along at a great pace.The sound effects are of a great quality and the whole audio has a movie like feel to it. In closing I don't think that Batman has ever looked this good in the video game world !! this is a much better title than Batman "Rise of the sin-zsu" and we won't even get into Batman "Dark Tomorrow" If your a fan of the caped crusader or even if your not and just looking for a great action/adventure game look no further than Batman Vengeance !!!
