Classic Batman action...stealth and fear are the main tactics.

This game (for me) has a high replay value just because the gameplay is so fun. You can never be sure when a game based on a movie is going to be sucky, but this game is one of the few that isn't, alongside...well, nothing else.

The graphics are revolutionary, and the gameplay is highly diversified throughout the game. You can run around the rooftops in a harbor, sneak through the sewers, and go to a foreign country and train with ninjas.

Experiment with a variety of gadgets, including batarangs and flash grenades.

Instill fear in your enemies through a variety of ways, such as breaking pipes, knocking skeletons from ceilings, and punching them until they cower in fear and beg for mercy. It sure is fun to beat up the thugs.

Rewards include alternate vehicles and costumes. Every time you defeat a major villain, they are added to a scary place, the Fear Gallery. Access it from the specials menu. I recommend it for kids of all ages.

You can also "read" enemies' heartbeats by getting close to them. If their heartbeat is above a certain number, they are scared, and occasionally, when you finish them off, you'll see a cutscene through their eyes. One of the cutscenes is where they see you as a bat with tight, grooved skin, and piercing black eyes.

This game is fun, and although there is no alternate ending and there are no different paths to choose, this game still has a high replay value (for me).
