User Rating: 8.5 | Batman: Arkham City PC
Arkham City is a perfect blend of fighting, stealth, and puzzles. As Batman, you get to explore a large chunk of Gotham City turned into a prison camp by a well-meaning, but ruthless psychiatrist. Your objective is to put an end to his plans, and in the course of your quest you will confront pretty much every major villain from the Batman mythos, which will undoubtedly appeal to fans of the Dark Knight. Your grapple gun and wings allow you to cover large distances quickly, and soaring across Arkham City never gets old. The combat is cinematic and fluid, but challenging, and sometimes you will have to use cover and Batman's numerous gadgets to gain an advantage. You can also play as Catwoman, who has her own distinctive moves and fighting style, as well as a separate storyline (unfortunately, a much shorter one than Batman's and unevenly spaced). Some missions will require the use of detective skills, and the numerous Riddler puzzles will challenge your intellect. The only drawbacks I can think of are the relatively small size of the map and the shortness of the game. It could definitely do with more side quests.
