Out of the 15 or so psp games that I have so far, this one and Mercury are far and away the worst gaming expereinces on the platform. The problem with ATV is that the controls are way too hard and the demands way too precise to make this game fun for anyone other then the most anally retentive people. The game is so unforgiving, that even one fall while racing around the course is oftentimes enough to make you lose.
I don't mind challenging games, I'll play a level on Burnout Legends over and over until I get the gold medal, but on ATV the experience is frustrating not fun. Gameplay is so rigid that anything short of perfection means you lose - and the effect is to make a game that I would rather not play.
