AWFUL! What did they do?

User Rating: 1 | Assassin's Creed III PS3
Going straight from Assassins Brotherhood to III in one day was a bitter disappointment.

Firstly, gameplay has drastically changed. Controls for weapons are ineffective. Firing Instructions are seriously lacking to top it off... since they don't work I'm guessing. I think as a veteran gamer, I should have had a cinch of a time, but it was work to select your weapon, and firing the guns was impossible. I can aim just fine. The firing doesn't work... neither does reloading (tried that just in case).

The music and sfx are outrageously loud in comparison to the quiet voices. I reset the volume on music and sounds to something like 5 and left the voice at 10. That's about right.

Graphics are bad. Reminds me of games from the mid-90s only less blocky. They're just nasty. Why if this is a newer game should it look so antiquated?

I only played for about 2 hours and stopped. The story-line seems disconnected. I have no idea where this came from. It doesn't appear to tie into Altair, Ezio, or Desmond. Characters are stuffy. I don't like them. I feel like you should love your character, and I really wanted to kill him.

I've put the game down permanently. Waste of money in my opinion, which is truly sad, because I was really super excited to play another game in the fabulous line of Assassins Creed.
