You Won't Be Able to Buy These Beatles Rock Band Songs Soon

Money can't buy you love, and it looks like it won't be able to buy you The Beatles: Rock Band's DLC for much longer, either. Harmonix's rhythm game based on the Liverpudlian band will have its DLC songs removed from the Music Store on May 5.

The Beatles: Rock Band's DLC includes three albums and one song: Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Rubber Soul, and "All You Need Is Love." Harmonix announced the relicensing update that's removing the aforementioned albums and song on its blog.

You have until May 5 to purchase the DLC songs. Any DLC you own can continue to be played past that date.

The Beatles: Rock Band received a score of 9 in GameSpot's review, in which critic Chris Watters concluded, "The Beatles: Rock Band doesn't just let you play the music of one of the greatest bands in history; it knits your band closer together so that you can better experience the camaraderie and excitement of playing in a unified, talented group. This makes any Beatles session great fun and makes The Beatles: Rock Band something special in the world of plastic living room rock."
