You Can Get Dissidia Final Fantasy NT DLC By Buying Cup Noodles

Square Enix really likes Cup Noodles.

Final Fantasy XV has received its share of unusual DLC items in the months following its launch, but perhaps the most bizarre was the infamous Cup Noodle hat, which could be acquired in Japan by purchasing a Nissin Cup Noodles pack and redeeming a code. (It was later released in other regions as a free download.) Square Enix is partnering with Nissin again for a similar promotion, this time for its upcoming PS4 fighting game, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

Players who purchase a specially marked package of Cup Noodles will receive a download code for Final Fantasy XV protagonist Noctis's Royal Raiment outfit. The promotion is available now, but it's currently limited to residents in the US. You can see an image of the specially marked Cup Noodles packages below.

To receive your download code, you'll need to take a photo of your receipt clearly showing the Cup Noodles line item and text the keyword "CUPNOODLES" to 87963. After that, you'll need to text the photo of your receipt to the short code that's printed on the inside of the Cup Noodles pack. You'll then receive a text message with the download code for Noctis's Royal Raiment outfit, which can be redeemed on PSN. You can read more about the promotion here.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT releases for PS4 on January 30. The game will feature 28 playable characters at launch, all of whom were shown off in the trailer above. Square Enix will release an additional six fighters as DLC following its launch. Each of those characters will be part of the game's season pass, which is included in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT's Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Collector's Editions.

Those who'd like to try Dissidia Final Fantasy NT before it releases will soon have the opportunity to take part in its next open beta, which kicks off next week, on January 12. Square Enix hasn't announced a start time for the beta just yet or detailed what content will be featured in it, but it will run until January 21.
