Not looking forward to this at all.... I spent $9 USD on Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition for iPad and it was a giant bag of dicks.

I enjoyed this on PC for the most part.  Would have liked the controls to have been more like the original and had more research tiers but overall it was a good update.  I don't have any IOS devices but between this and the support Square gives it's hard to not want one.  Just wish Xcom was more like the original and I still have no desire to play that FPS Xcom.

Really people are gonna complain? This is almost the full game for 20$ on a mobile device. First people complain about not having enough console experiences and them when they get them they complain about the price or the platform.

I am sure iOS will kill of 3DS and Vita once Apple release an official gamepad addon. Games have great graphics and run really smooth. Even the iPad mini runs games at steady frame rate. Vita and 3DS can only survive with their exclusives but Nintendo has upper hand with its Pokemon games. Even Deus Ex is coming to iOS.

If this plays well, then it is a bargain for $20. Bastion played really well on my ipad. It was more enjoyable on my Ipad than my PC.  Another game that would do well on IOS is L.A. Noire

Actually I think Tablets is a good device for XCOM. it was my first thought when I played it on my PC.

Is this game good? I got it for free from PS Plus and it took 8Gb of my hard drive. I haven't touched it yet.

If it's similar to Front Mission 3, I'll approve :D

Great. First Deus Ex: The Fall and now this??? Devs understand mobile platforms are not worth of your time. It is only for casual gaming. Kids see this high-tension strategy game and will lose everytime. They have no interest in these games. Don't waste your time in this.

@Virtual_ErkanWe will see. iOS has some decent games but a whole lot of crappy games too. I don't mind paying for a quality iOS game that gives me a full experience but I just hate the nickel and dime micro transaction model that many games are adopting. I typically just avoid those games all together and there are ALOT of them.

@CaptainSofa you are right but about LA Noire, that is impossible. An open world game will totally burn of the device, even if it is iPad.

Dumbed down? You could argue that the original game was dumbed down but the mobile game is almost identical to the version released last year so your comment is a little perplexing.

XCOM Deserve something better!.

@vectordream @Virtual_Erkan True I hate that system. Some games do have micro-transactions but it does not follow the pay-to-win option such as Infinity Blade 2, Dead Trigger, Hungry Shark etc. Even there are great remakes on iPhone like Jet Set Radio, Final Fantasy remakes and more. Don't get me wrong that iOS is a hardcore gaming system but still it is a great alternative.

@SirNormanislost @StonerDemon Wow, that's good to hear!! I finished FM3, one of the few (if not the only) games that I've invested more than 100 hours on. Oh, I invested 100 hours on Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Dark Souls as well, hehe. Thanks for the info.
