The upcoming Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion Blood and Wine will also add new things to the in-game card game Gwent, CD Projekt Red announced today at PAX East.

Content from the Skelliege location will be added to Gwent, along with four new cards. CD Projekt Red showed off these cards during a panel today. We'll add the images here when they become available.

The Witcher 3's first expansion, October's Hearts of Stone, also added new Gwent cards.

During a Q&A session, a fan asked if CD Projekt Red would release Gwent as a standalone game for mobile devices. The developer dodged the question. A developer asked the audience to sound off on whether or not this was something they would want, recording a video of the audience's overwhelmingly positive and rousing response. The video will be taken back to CD Projekt Red's office in Poland to show to the team to possibly inspire them to bring Gwent to mobile devices.

Another fan asked if Cyberpunk 2077 would include its own version of Gwent, to which the developers said it's too early to talk about that, though they joked it could be called "Cyber-Gwent."
